About the role
Senior Product Manager owns Basware's AI-native document capture solution, covering product vision, strategy, and roadmap as well as the underlying AI extraction, feedback, and training pipeline. The role sets accuracy measurement and applies the Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions, partnering with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success.
What you'll do
- Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-native document capture, tracking competitor moves
- Own the AI process end to end: multi-model extraction architecture with failover, feedback and training loop, and how field corrections become model improvements
- Set the ground truth and accuracy measurement strategy
- Apply Basware's Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions, ensuring actions stay explainable, auditable, and accountable
- Engage customers, prospects, and partners in sales cycles, field visits, and feedback sessions
- Partner with sales, marketing, and partner teams to drive usage and adoption
- Track KPIs for adoption and AI-driven revenue to inform the roadmap
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years shaping AI/ML-powered products or features
- Strong background in ILM or financial technology
- Deep understanding of AP processes
- Real working knowledge of AI/ML, comfortable with trade-offs on model behavior, confidence, and evaluation
- Sound judgment on AI governance and designing controls that hold up to audit
- Ability to translate customer pain points into product solutions
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and data analysis skills including accuracy measurement and error attribution
