About the role
Lead development of agentic workflows in JetBrains IDEs, focusing on developer experience, telemetry, and AI agent integrations. Own key parts of JetBrains Air from problem framing to delivery and adoption. Balance governance, privacy, latency, and cost trade-offs.
What you'll do
- Define and refine agentic workflows for task delegation, session monitoring, steering, and code review
- Model complex user flows, system states, permissions, and integration schemes
- Maintain transparent roadmap balancing rapid improvements with long-term investments
- Define telemetry, design experiments, analyze product data
- Study developer use of AI agents, collaborate with Agent Client Protocol ecosystem
- Address governance, privacy, and control requirements with enterprise sales
What they're looking for
- Proven experience shipping end-user products as a product manager
- Strong technical grounding in software development workflows (IDEs, Git, code review, CI/CD, package management)
- Hands-on technical background sufficient for close collaboration with software and ML engineers
- Understanding of AI and agent concepts (tool use, MCP/ACP protocols, context retrieval, evaluations, latency/cost trade-offs)
- Ability to write SQL or Python independently to analyze product metrics
- Systems-thinking ability to break down complex architectures
