Project Functional Safety manager

About the role
The Project Functional Safety Manager is responsible for defining and executing the product safety lifecycle per ISO26262 and NXP internal process. The role includes preparing safety work products, interfacing with stakeholders and safety assessors, and ensuring functional safety compliance for automotive semiconductor products.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the product safety lifecycle per ISO26262 and NXP process
- Continuously follow up and report on functional safety activities
- Prepare safety work products such as safety plan, safety case, and tool evaluation
- Interface with all project stakeholders including project manager and VnV team
- Interface with functional safety assessor for assessment and confirmation reviews
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety management and ISO26262 deployment
- Conducted complete safety lifecycle for projects up to ASIL-D
- Good understanding of Hardware and Software architecture and development process
- Familiar with project management tools: Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Experience with Safety Assessments/Audits
