About the role
DevRev is hiring a Product Designer to own the design of messaging experiences on its AI-native Computer platform. The role involves defining interaction patterns for human-AI and human-human communication, collaborating with engineering, and contributing to the design system.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design of messaging experiences across the platform
- Define interaction patterns for human-to-human, human-to-Computer, and Computer-initiated communication
- Make trade-offs between information density, interruptibility, and conversational flow
- Design for progressive disclosure and graceful complexity
- Collaborate with engineering on real-time system constraints
- Contribute to the Arcade design system at the pattern level
- Mentor junior designers
What they're looking for
- 5-8 years of product design experience
- Expert-level Figma and prototyping skills
- Deep understanding of conversational interfaces, messaging systems, or real-time collaboration products
- Demonstrated ability to own outcomes
- Experience with progressive disclosure, interruptibility, optimistic UI, error recovery
- Strong systems thinking and communication skills
