About the role
HackerRank is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead its Interviews product, an AI-native pair-programming and technical interviewing platform. The role owns roadmap for AI-assisted development evaluation, reporting, APIs/MCP, and works closely with engineering customers and leadership.
What you'll do
- Own roadmap for evaluating AI-assisted development in HackerRank Interviews.
- Define how the platform captures and surfaces signals on candidate AI use.
- Drive reporting and integration strategy across product, exports, APIs, and MCP.
- Engage engineering customers and senior leadership to shape roadmap decisions.
- Represent the product in high-visibility customer and executive moments.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to ship AI-native interview experiences.
What they're looking for
- Overall 7+ years of total professional experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on Software Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience and currently a PM.
- Experience preferably building B2B SaaS, enterprise products, tech services, or platforms.
- Comfortable as the technical/product voice with engineers.
- Able to stay composed under sudden high-visibility pressure.
