About the role
Performance Engineer to plan and conduct performance, load, stress, and soak tests for .NET Core microservices and React/React Native clients. Profiles services to identify bottlenecks, recommends optimizations, defines SLOs and capacity plans, and builds performance dashboards. Works with Kubernetes/AKS teams and documents best practices.
What you'll do
- Plan and conduct performance, load, stress, and soak tests
- Profile services and applications to identify performance bottlenecks
- Recommend and validate optimizations at code, database, and infrastructure levels
- Define and monitor performance budgets, SLOs/SLIs, and capacity plans
- Work with Kubernetes/AKS teams on resource allocation and autoscaling
- Build and maintain performance dashboards and monitoring
What they're looking for
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust)
- Strong understanding of .NET Core runtime behavior and profiling
- Proficiency with .NET profiling tools (Perfview, dotTrace, Application Insights)
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server performance
- Familiarity with NoSQL performance tuning (Cosmos DB)
- Understanding of browser and mobile performance
