About the role
Manufacturing Engineer reviewing manufacturability and costs across fabrication processes including CNC machining and 3D printing. Generates quotes and cost calculators, gives DFx feedback, and produces 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering (US).
What you'll do
- Analyze models, drawings and parts lists for feasibility and lead time
- Generate quotes using analysis and software recommendations
- Develop cost calculators for new service offerings
- Provide DFx feedback to improve manufacturability and cost
- Generate 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5
- Give feedback to quoting software team to improve automation
