About the role
Lead Software Engineer building scalable Big Data pipelines for HERE's Billing, Accounting and Mediation tribe. Owns production-grade big data services processing billions of daily transactions on AWS and Kubernetes using Java and Flink.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy production-grade Big Data services in large, compliance-bound organizations
- Work with Project Managers, Architects and Data Analysts across multiple platforms
- Select tools and technologies and manage the full production software lifecycle
- Deploy software to stable production environments using CI/CD
- Build high-throughput, low-latency pipelines for billing systems

- 6+ years professional software development and deployment experience
- Big Data (Spark) and Java expertise
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery and automated testing
- Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Flink experience desirable
