About the role
Lead Software Engineer for the Identity team, building backend services and APIs for the Zeta Identity Graph. Involves designing event-driven pipelines, scaling systems, and mentoring engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution
- Develop and optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals
- Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes
- Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability
- Mentor engineers and influence architecture decisions
What they're looking for
- 7+ years in backend and/or data engineering at scale
- Strong Python, Java, or Scala with distributed systems
- Experience with Kafka, Spark/Hive/Flink, Airflow/Luigi
- Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm
- SQL, data modeling, and AWS
- Familiarity with columnar/NoSQL databases
