About the role
Senior Product Manager for JetBrains Air, an agentic development system integrating AI coding agents into JetBrains IDEs. Owns core agentic workflows, roadmap, and telemetry for developer tools.
What you'll do
- Take end-to-end ownership of key parts of Air in JetBrains IDEs
- Define and refine core agentic workflows including task delegation, session monitoring, steering, and code review
- Model complex user flows, system states, permissions, and integration schemes
- Maintain a transparent roadmap balancing quick improvements with long-term strategy
- Define telemetry, design experiments, analyze product data, and make evidence-based decisions
- Engage with the Agent Client Protocol ecosystem and collaborate with partners
What they're looking for
- Proven experience shipping end-user products as a product manager
- Strong technical grounding in software development workflows (IDEs, git, code review, CI/CD, package management)
- Hands-on technical background to collaborate with software and ML engineers
- Understanding of core AI and agent concepts including tool use, protocols (MCP/ACP), context retrieval
- Active personal experience using coding agents
- Data-driven approach with hands-on experience querying and analyzing telemetry
