About the role
Functional Safety Architect in NXP's CTO Functional Safety Competence Centre. Defines safety requirements and delivers ISO 26262/IEC 61508-compliant platform and IP solutions for automotive and industrial SoCs, including safety analysis, assessment and SoC integration support.
What you'll do
- Deliver ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 compliant safety platform and IP solutions
- Define safety requirements for platform and IP modules
- Manage SEooC modules through their lifecycle with design teams
- Prepare safety modules for functional safety assessment and audits
- Perform safety analysis: FMEDA, FTA, DFA and fault injection
- Support SoC integration and define safety roadmaps
What they're looking for
- B.Tech in Electronics/Computer Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
- Experience in complex SoC/IP development compliant to ISO 26262 Part 11
- Experience with safety audits and assessments
- Experience with FTA, DFA, FMEDA and fault injection
- Track record leading IP/subsystem/SoC functional safety development
