About the role
Forward Deployed Engineer who works directly with customers to discover problems, design solutions, and write production code for Conversational AI and customer experience applications. Owns outcomes from discovery to production, requiring Java backend and Python AI engineering.
What you'll do
- Work with customer teams to understand workflows, pain points, and technical constraints
- Translate requirements into APIs, data models, integration contracts, and implementation plans
- Build backend services and integrations using Java and Spring Boot
- Build AI/LLM capabilities in Python including agent workflows, tool calling, evaluation, and guardrails
- Integrate Conversational AI with contact-center/CCaaS, CRM, ticketing, and enterprise APIs
- Design secure, observable cloud solutions on AWS using DynamoDB and PostgreSQL; collaborate on React frontend
