About the role
Product Manager Energy owning a first-of-its-kind energy management and control product built on VREY's smart meter and CLS infrastructure. Works with COO and external partners to translate technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements into product decisions.
What you'll do
- Build a first-of-its-kind energy management and control product on smart meter and CLS infrastructure
- Work closely with the COO and external partners (aEMT, CLS, GWA, hardware/software providers)
- Translate technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements into product requirements and roadmaps
- Use data and metrics to validate hypotheses and justify product decisions
- Structure make/partner/buy options and prepare decision papers
What they're looking for
- Professional experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS/HEMS) and/or IoT and data platforms
- Good understanding of smart metering, CLS/14a EnWG, dynamic tariffs, direct marketing, or flexibility marketing
- Ability to structure technical complexity into clear product requirements, roadmaps, specs, and decision papers
- Strong research, structuring, and decision-making skills
- No fear of regulatory topics and ability to work independently into energy-industry questions
- Fluent in German and English
