About the role
Application Platform Architect to design foundational architecture for all applications and services. Defines standards, selects technologies, and guides development of core platform components including microservices, APIs, and AI agent integration.
What you'll do
- Define technical vision and roadmap for the application platform
- Design and lead implementation of core platform services, microservices, APIs, and shared components
- Architect platform services and APIs for AI agents, LLMs, and agentic workflows
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and high availability
- Create developer tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate cross-functionally
What they're looking for
- 10+ years software engineering experience, with 3-5 years as lead architect or principal engineer
- Extensive experience designing large-scale distributed application platforms
- Deep expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native services
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
