About the role
Technical Product Manager owning GALVANY FUSION's energy interaction layer, defining how device fleets (heat pumps, batteries, EVs) participate in energy markets via EMS, VPP, dynamic tariffs, and grid services. Requires deep energy-market domain knowledge to translate market mechanics into product logic and revenue.
What you'll do
- Own vision and roadmap for the Energy product surface (EMS, VPP, Energy Data Engine, Savings Engine)
- Define optimization strategies for load shifting, arbitrage, smart charging, and flexibility trading
- Translate energy market mechanics into product requirements and engineering tickets
- Drive hardware and partner integrations, deciding build vs. integrate
- Work hands-on with engineering on EMS architecture, APIs, telemetry, and forecasting
- Define KPIs and support go-to-market for new energy products and pricing tiers
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in Energy-Tech or Industrial IoT
- Proven track record building energy products (EMS/HEMS, VPP, battery arbitrage, smart charging)
- Understanding of Day-Ahead, Intraday, aFRR, balancing markets and EnWG14a
- Background in Energy/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, CS, Physics or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with EMS architecture, API integration, telemetry pipelines
