About the role
Senior Product Manager for Global Year-End at Shine, owning the closing and year-end accounts product for tax advisors and CPAs, starting with Germany. Part of Shine's new Tax & Year-End area, building a pan-European engine integrated with the common ledger.
What you'll do
- Own the Global Year-End strategy and roadmap from closing preparation to signed annual accounts
- Build the closing workflow: checklists, period locks, review and sign-off
- Automate standard adjustments: accruals, deferrals, provisions, inventory and reconciliations
- Define shared vs local components of the year-end engine (workflow, adjustment framework, statement model, GAAP rules, charts of accounts)
- Own handoff to Global Tax, defining the contract between approved accounts and tax returns
- Serve two segments: comprehensive solution for tax advisors/CPAs and simplified closing for Shine Micro business owners
