About the role
Principal Software Engineer I develops high-quality software, works with cross-functional teams, and ensures deliverables meet standards. Role involves designing, building, and maintaining large-scale services, debugging production issues, and improving engineering practices.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Coach and review work of other team members
- Assist with improvement of organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Participate in testing process through test review and analysis
What they're looking for
- Mandatory: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and software basics
- Strong knowledge of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks
- Ability to manage projects and processes independently
- Advanced knowledge of applicable work area
